About StudentDiscountGuide

StudentDiscountGuide is an independent guide to student and college discounts. We answer one simple question for each brand, store and service: can students get a better price, and how exactly?

What we are, and what we are not

We are a small independent website. We are not a charity, a government body, a university or any kind of official organization, even though our address ends in .org.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the brands we write about, or by the student verification services we explain, such as UNiDAYS, Student Beans, ID.me or SheerID. Brand names are used only to describe their offers. All trademarks belong to their owners.

We do not check whether you are a student. The brand, or the verification service it uses, does that on its own website. We explain what each offer is, who can get it, how verification works, and we link to the official page.

What makes this guide different

• A clear answer first. Yes, no, or “it depends on your country”, at the top of every page.
• Real dates. Every offer shows when it was last checked and whether that check was done by our system or by a person.
• No fake codes. We only show a code when it is public and has an expiry date. Most big brands give you a personal code after you verify, and we say so.
• Local, not just translated. Each language section covers the brands, prices and rules of its own countries.

How we earn money

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking, the shop may pay us a small commission. We may also show clearly labelled ads. This never changes our answer. A brand cannot pay to get a “Yes”. Read our affiliate disclosure and how we verify offers.
