How We Verify Student Discounts

Every offer on this site goes through the same steps before it is published, and it keeps being checked after that.

1. Research from official sources

Before an offer is added, we search for it fresh and read the brand’s own student page, help pages and terms. We write down the source pages we used; you find them at the bottom of each page under “Sources we checked”. If we cannot confirm a fact, it is not published. Brands without enough confirmed facts for a full page are listed briefly on their category page instead.

2. A date on every offer

Each offer shows one of two labels:

• Checked by our system on [date] – our automatic checker opened the official page on that day and found the offer text and price still there.
• Reviewed by a person on [date] – a person looked at the official page and confirmed or corrected the facts on that day.

We never use the second label unless a person really did the check.

3. Automatic checks every night

Our checker visits the official pages on a schedule. If a page cannot be reached, or the offer is no longer mentioned, the offer is flagged. If it stays that way for 30 days, it is hidden automatically. If a price or rule seems to have changed, the site does not change by itself: a person confirms the new facts first.

Some websites block automatic visits or load their prices with scripts our checker cannot read. Those offers go to a person to check by hand. An automatic check can tell that a page still mentions an offer; it cannot always tell that the offer works for you.

What the labels mean

• Yes – there is a student offer in the country shown.
• No – we found no student offer. We show cheaper legal alternatives instead.
• Varies by country – the offer exists in some countries only. See the country table.
• Varies by location – it depends on the store, cinema or gym branch.
• Code – a public code you can copy. It always has an expiry date and disappears when it expires.

Your feedback

Under every offer you can say whether it worked and report a problem. Several “didn’t work” answers put the page back on the review list. Prices on the brand’s site always win over ours; please check the final price before you pay.
