How teachers usually verify
Most brands accept a school email address. When that does not work, they ask for a teacher ID, a pay slip or an offer letter (Adobe lists these three), or they run their own instant check (Michaels). Apple and Samsung let you buy online after verifying; Samsung also accepts ID.me.
Classroom tech for less
If you need a laptop or tablet for teaching, compare Apple’s education price with Samsung’s education program before you buy: Samsung’s discount is a percentage that changes by product, while Apple’s is a fixed amount per model. Software is often free for teachers: check Office 365 A1, Canva Education and Figma first.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Many brands run short teacher deals in early May for Teacher Appreciation Week. They change every year, so we only list them once they are announced and confirmed; the standing programs above work all year round.
Homeschool teachers
Apple explicitly includes homeschool teachers of all grade levels in education pricing. Other brands rarely mention homeschooling; where they ask for a school email or a teacher ID, a homeschool association card or registration letter may or may not be accepted, so try the brand’s verification before you buy.
