How to get Figma for free

  1. Create an account with your school emailUse your student or teacher email address when you sign up.
  2. Verify your statusOn Figma’s education page, follow the link to verify that you are a student or educator.
  3. Create or join an education teamUpgrade an existing team to education or create a new one. Classmates can join the same team.

  • Dev Mode: code snippets for CSS, iOS and Android, handy for design-to-code classes.
  • FigJam: whiteboards with sticky notes, voting, comments, audio and cursor chat for group projects.
