The cheapest ways for students to watch Netflix
- Pick Standard with ads. At $8.99 it is the lowest Netflix price.
- Check what your phone or internet plan already includes. Some carrier plans bundle streaming; look at your own plan’s perks before paying separately.
- Share legally. On Standard or Premium, the account owner can add an extra member for a monthly fee, which can be cheaper than a second full plan.
- Rotate services. Subscribe for the month a show comes out, then cancel. Netflix has no contract.
Streaming services that do have student prices
If you want a student price, look at Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max, or get Hulu (With Ads) together with music through Spotify Premium Student. Compare them all in the streaming hub.
Websites that promise a "Netflix student code" are not from Netflix. Netflix sells its plans only on its own site, in its apps and through partners it names.
