How to get the best seats
- Check the student price first: a fixed £23–£28.75 seat often beats a percentage discount on a full-price ticket.
- Go midweek: some offers, such as Moulin Rouge!, only cover Monday to Thursday.
- Compare sellers: the same show can appear at several sellers with different discounts.
- Read the seat band: Student Beans does not always say which seats the student price covers.
- Bring ID: you may need to show it, and Magic Mike Live checks photo ID for every guest.
Even cheaper: under-26 schemes
If you are 16–25, the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, Tate and the Barbican run their own cheap-ticket schemes, some under £10. See cheap theatre, opera and art for 16–25s. For gigs and experiences, Fever gives students 10% off plans (up to 4 tickets per transaction, 2 transactions per user; not cinema).
