The biggest student discounts right now

If you only sign up for a few things, start with the ones that save the most over a year: education pricing on a laptop, a music or video streaming student plan, free software you would otherwise pay for, and a student delivery or shopping membership if you order often. Free tools for coding, design and notes are worth claiming even if you only use them occasionally.

Brands that say no

A “No” is useful too: it stops you hunting for a code that does not exist. We keep pages for popular brands without a student discount, with the cheapest legal ways to save instead. Starbucks, Planet Fitness (for college students) and Barnes & Noble (since 2023) are examples.

How to use this list

  1. Open a brand to see who qualifies, the exact price and the steps to verify.
  2. Check the country: many offers only exist in some countries, and prices differ.
  3. Sign up with the verification service the brand uses. Compare them in Student Beans vs UNiDAYS vs ID.me.
  4. No .edu email? Read how to verify without one.
